Description of the plant: They have very large and showy leaves, oval or heart shaped and generally very shiny. The flowers are actually husks and spadices; spathe is a kind of bright colorful sheet which can be different colors from red, white, yellow, etc, growing around a small flower spike, called spadix.

Flowering: can flower for eight weeks, approximately, but most of this species flowers most of the year if they are kept at a constant temperature (21-27ºC).

Brightness: Dale good light, but without receiving direct sunlight, which would cause burns
 
Watering: In summer watering about 3 times a week but in winter down to 1 time per week. It's almost more important humidity that irrigation.
