Cymbidium spp.

 

Common name: Cymbidium.

Description of the plant: species of terrestrial or epiphytic orchid. Leathery leaves are in the form of tape and about 40 cm long. Will proceed to entutorado floral branches as floral stem are higher than the foliage. The range of flower colors range from green, yellow, red, brown and white.

Flowering: once a year, from winter to spring, for 8-12 weeks; scented.

Brightness: Cymbidium Place in full sun, so take advantage milder months for plants to "absorb" the most sun weather.

Watering: Water it thoroughly every 2-3 days late spring and summer months to September. The rest of the year is enough to once per week.
