Common name: Ficus big leaf

Description of the plant: Tree evergreen and robust development. Provided with persistent erect stem, leathery leaves, alternate, petiolate, entire, glossy dark green. New leaves appear covered with a bright red bracts.

Flowering: unisexual (monoecious), rarely dioecious, apetalous. No ornamental interest.

Brightness: requires a well-lit and warm.

Irrigation: must be moderate, waiting for the earth is completely dry before watering again.
