Medinilla magnifica

Common name: Medinilla.

Description of the plant: It has woody stems and leaves can reach 30-40 cm. long, elliptical with five nerves.
The flowers appear at the end of a long stalk forming a large cluster of pink flowers covered by several pink bracts.

Flowering: From early spring until August.

Lighting: Lots of light but no direct sun, with an average temperature of 20º-22ºC.

Watering: You have to water it with water without lime. From November to February goes to sleep and the temperature should not drop below 15º-17ºC for what to reduce risks but always enough to keep the soil moist. In summer will be more abundant.
