Common name: Butia, Palm jelly, Palm of Brazil.

Description of the plant: monoecious palm tree trunk covered by the bases of old leaves, which are elongated and are arranged in an orderly fashion around the trunk. Palmas characteristic bluish green. It can reach 5-6 m tall and 45 cm thick.

Sun Exposure: Full sun.

Watering: very moderate.
