Strelitzia augusta

Common name: Bird of paradise, Estrelitzia.

Description of the plant: herbaceous plant, the leaves are oval, elliptical, include marked midrib, very large, wide up to 20 cm and up to 50 cm long, the flowers have three sepals bright orange and three petals bright blue. It is a majestic plant that can reach up to 10 meters high.
