Scientific name: Lactuca Sativa.

Description: Variety of winter and spring.
Leaves small, elongated, corrugated, embossed surface, midrib developed.
Small form dense, compact buds, 10 to 12 cm. long, crisp and sweet.
Planting time: September to February.
Method of sowing: sowing in seedbed of fine sand, burying the seed to 1 cm. depth, separating the seeds 2 cm. apart. Transplanted when seedlings have been established and are heavy to manipulate, leaving a separation between plants frame of 40 x 30 cm.
Harvesting: From January to May.
Soil Type: Rich in nutrients and well drained.
Light: Full sun.
Watering: constant humidity.
Curiosities: Excellent flavor and texture are ideal for composing salads. Very well used to adorn and accompany various dishes.
