Agapanthus umbellatus

 

Common name: African Lilium, agapanthus.

Description of the plant: herbaceous perennial leaves appear at ground stuck together like a fan. During spring or early summer produce many small flowers deep blue but there are varieties of lighter blue and even white.

Flowering: summer.

Watering: Moderate and small quantities.

Synonym: Agapanthus africanus.
