Calocephalus brownii



Common name: Silver Bush, calocefalus.

Description of the plant: Herbaceous evergreen, rounded, usually no more than one meter high; its gray silver look with small leaves remind us santolinas, the leaves are so small that they can hardly see giving the feeling that the ground is composed of small cylindrical branches; produces small round flowers of a yellowish white color.

Flowering: mid spring.

Exposure: full sun.

Watering: very moderate, has an extraordinary capacity to drought.

Synonym: Leucophyta brownii.
