Common name: Lagunaria.

Description of the plant: shrub or tree pyramidal shape, and fast growing, can reach 15 m. The leaves are dark green face, a little whitish tomentose and reverse, perennials, so broadly lanceolate, slightly rough and whole. Young leaves contrast with the rest being clearer. The flowers have a tubular appearance and flared pink mauve.

Flowering: spring and summer.
