Description of the plant: shrub or small tree up to 5 m tall, deciduous tree with law, with the cracked bark and branches opposite, sometimes péndulas.Las between lanceolate leaves are oblong, opposite a yellowish green the flowers measure 3-4 cm in diameter, solitarias.sus fruits are edible and are within a round fleshy berry called balausta, like an apple and yellow to reddish color, with very thick crust. Ripen in mid-autumn.
