Description of the plant: a large shrub or small tree reaching 6-7 m tall. Leaves light green to glaucous simple, oval to heart-shaped. Flowers usually tubular base in lilac purple, occasionally white, in dense panicles.

Flowering: winter-spring.

Irrigation: regular - abundant.
