Catalpa bignonioides

Common name: Catalapa.

Description of the plant: tree 15 to 18 m tall, with a trunk up to 1 m in diameter, brown to gray. The leaves are large, heart-shaped, 2 to 3 cm in length. The flowers are 2 to 4 cm atrompeteadas, white with yellow and purple spots inside, in panicles of 20 to 40.

Flowering: early summer.

Watering: Regular-rich.
