Feijoa sellowiana

Common name: Feijoa, guava Brazil.

Description of the plant: Its bark pale gray, rough scaly or something. Persistent foliage and stiff branches. Leaves simple, opposite, stalked dark green and glossy on the front, whitish beneath. The fruit is an oblong berry from 4 to 7 × 3 cm to 5 cm, dark green at maturity. It is edible, rich in vitamin C and is used to prepare drinks, jellies, ice creams and jams.

Flowering: late winter early spring.

Watering: low-moderate.
