Liquidambar styraciflua

Common name: Liquidambar.

Description of the plant: A medium to large tree, up to 20 and 35 m.Las leaves are palmate lobed, 7 to 19 cmargas and wide with a petiole 6 to 10 cm, shining like the leaves of maples. Tree is monoecious, with male inflorescences in clusters verdozas pedunculate, erect, conical, 3-6 cm largo.Las female flowers are without petals or sepals.

Flowering: Both inflorescences, male and female, are at the same time leaves-late winter, early spring.

Irrigation: Regular.
